the great pumpkin

i few pumpkin pictures from home. i love that my brother decided to be a pumpkin farmer
but you have to do everything by hand...
planting,picking,washing
(and he is the pickiest pumpkin picker ever)

collecting gourds
in the bread racks
isn't my Mammie & Pappy's house the cutest?
the best part-- he designed and built it with his own 2 hands.

happy saturday!
we are taking Scout-alicious to the vet
and then I have a cheesecake buffet to tackle.

let my people go

Why does every single thing at Free People have to be so ...Needed. Needed in my closet, on my feet, keeping my ears warm with all its sparkly goodness. They have a pair of "White Rain" jeans. My white trashness def needs a pair of those!

its a skirt, it a dress, its a skirt. i love clothes as bipolar as me.

and i want those shredded leggings. minus the nightmare on elm street.

to wear with my white rain jeans.

i am not a good "dresser upper". this would make my holey jeans & boots look glammed out.

All the girls are getting pretty sprayin’ on the White Rain

And they have Pumpkin pancakes on their blog. Fashion & syrup. Bananas.

my wee pumpkin & some marshmallow ghosts.

the boyf brought me home this wee pumpkin. isn't she cute? when we were little my Mom used to paint pumpkins (2 big, 3 little) to look like our family & set them on the mantle. Mine always had red hair & freckles. Miss that.

how rad is this sweet cake with marshmallow ghosts?

The Letter P

Today's Post is sponsered by the letter P. Some things that are making me smile today.

P is for Posh Squash aka hand-dyed velvet pumpkins. Kits to make your own can be found at Olive Juice & Co. found via Danielle Thompson at her blog, Thompson Family Life.

And I love the names of the hues they come in. So happy & "fall-ish".

And ever since I made Christina's rehearsal bouquet with yarn pom poms, I am a bit pom-crazed. I saw this picture at Bluebird Vintage today & decided it's going to be a pompom Christmas!

Kraft paper, poms, & a white tree. Now all I need is a new Polaroid camera & some film in one of those boxes! (pompom pictures orginally from rachel denbow.)
